Indirect combustion oven. The size of the cooking space is 57 × 42 cm, but with a height of 40 cm, which allows cooking on three levels. The oven comes with a food-certified fireproof plate and is ideal for baking bread, pizza, roasts and other dishes. Maximum insulation of the temperature inside thanks to the 12 cm of natural rock wool, the desired temperature is achieved with extreme ease and with the use of only 2.5 kg of wood. The fire is then maintained using only 1 kg of wood per hour. The inner structure is made of stainless steel, the outside is made of stainless electrogalvanized steel and powder paint. Delivered with a practical trolley for the widest movement, smoke hood with rain cover, two grills, two cooking pans and thermometer. Version equipped with 12-volt interior lighting and ventilation.
INDIRECT COOKING
In a wood-burning oven with indirect cooking, combustion occurs in a separate chamber in which the food is cooked, isolating the two chambers from each other. This way the smoke does not come into contact with the preparations and is expelled through the hood. This feature allows the oven to cook multiple dishes at the same time, satisfying the needs of the most demanding cooking enthusiasts. This type of oven, thanks to its particular construction technology, is able to reach high temperatures in a short time, maintain a constant temperature and cook for many hours, reducing the preheating times of typical traditional ovens. The system also allows you to use very little wood for cooking, for maximum comfort and significant time and cost savings.
EVEN HEAT DISTRIBUTION
Fontana is the only company in the sector to offer the upper part of the cooking chamber with the traditional rounded arched shape: this solution, more expensive than the flat solutions of competing companies, allows optimal and even heat distribution (no need). “Turn” food during cooking, no maintenance required and fewer emissions into the atmosphere, as all combustion residues that cannot settle on the rounded roof are returned to the combustion chamber and burned permanently. In addition, the oven also contains fireproof materials on the sides and not just the bottom.
MOVABLE
Thanks to the sturdy wheels, the stove can be placed anywhere and stored in the shed over the winter months.
EASY CLEANING
The side walls and the rear wall of the cooking space can be easily removed to enable perfect cleaning, even in the dishwasher. In addition, the particular structure of the Fontana oven, which allows it to reach very high temperatures, allows the destruction of the grease and makes it easier to clean the most stubborn dirt.
