Description
Nuvola S by Midj is the chair with a four-legged frame made of painted metal and a padded shell covered in leather, fabric, leather, imitation leather or velvet. Available with either a high backrest (height 96 cm, model SA) or a low backrest (height 89 cm, model SB).
If desired, it is possible to configure the chair with a backrest surface other than the covering of the front backrest and seat. Contact our customer service to receive an individual offer.
Nuvola is the original design of the chair: four straight lines form the base of the chair, which folds into a seat and backrest in the most classic way. A collection of minimalist chairs embellished and made unique by the bright colors of the fabrics, the combinable materials, the details and the visible seams. The Nuvola collection – a project developed by Midj’s R&D office – was born in its first fully upholstered version, but today offers models with metal legs that expand its uses and versions.

MIRAGE FABRICS
Mirage is a bi-elastic stretch fabric with a crepe weave that gives the fabric no direction and is highly abrasion and pilling resistant.

FAUX LEATHER SECRET
Secret is a fireproof imitation leather made entirely in Italy. Inside, Secret hides new polymers with high resistance to sunlight and wear. Designed for indoor use, Secret features a polyester back structure that allows it to adapt to new geometries and ensure greater strength and durability.

VINTAGE FAUX LEATHER
The surface of this synthetic leather has been given a microscopic structure that resembles the feel of natural leather while maintaining the typical properties of a technical fabric such as high strength and ease of use. The vintage faux leather is equipped with a special slightly elastic textile armor that allows it to adapt to the new geometries of the upholstered furniture and ensures a longer service life. It is soft, enveloping and fireproof.

FENIX WOOL FABRICS
Composition: 75% wool; 25% polyamide.
The special finish of the Fenix wool fabric is achieved through a stabilization treatment that gives a particularly soft but very uniform touch and achieves excellent resistance to pilling and abrasion. Made from recycled wool, entirely in Italy.

NOVABUK FABRICS
Composition: 55% PL; 45% PU.
Novabuk fabric features advanced technical properties that guarantee a modern look and excellent water-repellent properties. With its velvety feel, it is perfect for personalizing products. This 100% made in Italy fabric is easy to clean, perfect for contract or marine use, fireproof and made from recycled material.
MANHATTAN FABRICS
Composition: 26% PL; 37% PO; 21% CO; 16% LI.
The Manhattan fabric features a subtle texture that gives it a unique dynamic look. The mixed cotton and polyester filaments guarantee softness and give tone-on-tone colors a warm and vibrant look.
VISUAL SUBSTANCES
Composition: 100% PES FR.
Visual is a bi-elastic FR polyester yarn fabric made using jacquard knitting looms. The special, slightly three-dimensional texture in combination with sound-absorbing material helps reduce sound reverberation.

Oceanic is a fabric designed to combat plastic pollution in the oceans and create a waste-free environment. It is actually made entirely from recycled post-consumer plastic. Oceanic is an extremely durable, colorful and easy-care material. Each meter of fabric contains the equivalent of 26 plastic bottles: a small step forward in the mission to clean our planet.
MAIN LINE OF FLAX FABRICS
Composition: 70% wool; 30% linen.
The Main Line Flax fabric is made from virgin wool and linen, naturally fireproof materials of sustainable origin. The particular weave of the fabric with the change of colors in its texture makes it aesthetically interesting without sacrificing softness and comfort.
SECOND MATERIALS
Composition: 70% VI; 30% LI.
The second fabric is made of 100% viscose and linen, natural fibers that offer the highest safety standards in terms of flame retardancy. Without formaldehyde and substances derived from chlorine and bromine, Second is a natural, not synthetic, substance. In the presence of fire, Second chars and forms a protective wall around the flame without melting or pouring, with a resistance of more than 1000 ° C. Its processing gives it a particular herringbone pattern.
EXCELLENT VELVET FABRICS
Composition: 100% PL-FR.
Superb Velvet is flame retardant, of the highest quality and beauty. Its surface is characterized by a very thick, full and soft pile made of Trevira® polyester. With its slightly opaque look, it fits any style, whether classic or modern.
YOREDALE FABRICS
Composition: 90% WO; 3%PL; 2% PA.
Yoredale is a heritage fabric: highly structured, with waves that reflect its Yorkshire roots, its charming bouclé-style yarn incorporates a contrasting black binder, creating subtle details within the weave that add depth to its saturated tones. . Woven from British wool, Yoredale is timeless, combining its rich history with modern charm.
MIX 3 MATERIALS NEW
Composition: 90% WO; 10% PA.
Elegant and sophisticated, the Remix 3 fabric is characterized by an exceptional depth of color: the closer you look at it, the better its details and color contrasts are captured. The texture has small, minimalist waves that are created by processing two different yarns, each of which can combine up to three shades.
UNIFORM MELANGE FABRICS
Composition: 68% WO; 22% PA; 10% PL.
Uniform melange fabric is knitted, versatile and is characterized by its soft and comfortable look. A polyester wadding is inserted between the two knitted layers to create volume, while the wool inserted into the top layer gives a natural effect and a very pleasant feel.
FLORAL LEATHER
Composition: 100% leather.
Grain leather is a natural product and may therefore show traces such as wrinkles, veins, scars and needles, which indicate the animal origin of the coating. These characters, together with very slight color differences, are distinctive elements that enhance its beauty and distinguish it from faux leather or other artificial products. Grain leather is a cowhide from animals of European origin, processed by water-based dyeing with resins and pigments. Grain leather has the ability to improve with time and wear, both in softness and shine.
VINTAGE LEATHER
Composition: 100% leather.
Vintage leather is a natural product and for this reason may show signs such as wrinkles, veins, scars and needles that indicate the animal origin of the coating. These characters, together with very slight color differences, are distinctive elements that enhance its beauty and distinguish it from faux leather or other artificial products. Vintage leather is a cowhide from animals of European origin with an aged effect. This high quality item is made from nubuck leather that has been lightly leveled with aniline and hand sanded to create an aged effect. The hand is very warm and silky.
LEATHER
Leather is a hygienic and very practical product: it is abrasion-resistant, waterproof and breathable at the same time. It is obtained from the hides of cattle raised and slaughtered for food and then treated with chromium salts. Any unevenness on the leather surface is a natural feature of the leather, which guarantees its originality.
